Class Blog Requirements

Our class blog will be used for you to respond to both writing prompts and readings.

Every Sunday I will post a writing prompt or reading assignment for you to respond to. (I will explain the requirements for reading assignments in more detail next week.)

Each response should answer the prompt or respond to the reading and be at least 2-3 paragraphs in length. Plan to spend about 30 minutes per week on your blog.

Every week you should also comment on two of your classmates' responses. In your comments, you may agree/disagree and state the reason(s) why, say what you liked/what you think the author did well, share your own (related) experience, ask a question, etc.  Each comment should be at least 3-4 sentences in length. By the end of the semester, you should have commented on everyone's blog at least twice.

Blogs and comments will be due every Monday by 5:00 p.m. Late blogs and comments will not be accepted.
